Legend of Zelda OoT cross stitch project by Lileya-Celestie Legend of Zelda OoT cross stitch project by Lileya-Celestie
A christmas gift for my husband. I finished on time!!! Two months of all my free time went into this. If he doesn't appreciate it, I will smack him, I swear... >_>

Credits for the pattern go to Megatonabomb and Setsuko from the Sprite Stitch forums :

I slightly changed the colors and the sage medallions. I also added "Merry Xmas" at the top in hylian alphabet and the music score at the bottom.

And this frame absolutely doesn't suit it! I need to find something better...

Hi!
I was wondering what colors did you use for the inside of the orbs and the outline as well.

What did you use for the music score at the bottom? I'm thinking of designing a project like this in the near future.

I started by going over a low quality screenshot I googled with Paint.NET than I first rescaled to fit my project. I then transfered it to KGChart and reworked it a lot as it looked awful! XD

Yeah I had no clue what to use for X. I guess it makes sense it wasn't listed in your alphabet info sheet, there's no "x" sound in the Japanese language. So I just used what was under "x" on the keyboard and figured my husband would never find out! XD

Thanks for making those awesome font! :D I'm glad you like the project! ^_^

Haha well, after I decided that "sh" could be a substitute in English for an x... I remembered that "x" in Chinese actually sounds like "sh". It was sheer coincidence that I mapped the "sh" character to the lowercase x. xD

And it's not so much what is and isn't in Japanese with this alphabet, but what is and isn't in Hylian. ^~

Of course I like it! I love seeing when people use my Hylian Project alphabets and such in real life, especially when they do it so well! So thank you, too! :3

Did you manage to create the music notes yourself or are those somewhere on that website for me to have? :giggle:

I made the music notes by hand. You can find the pattern for this piece right there (with the actual colors that I used) :
